I would love to be able to try this app since I'm flying on United tomorrow. I was using it and working on logging in because I had a very old account and had to go through all of the steps to change my password. then just as I got that done, it crashed. now it won't open. I've reinstalled it, turned my phone off and turned it back on, close all my other apps, and it simply won't open. it starts two for a couple of seconds and then crashes out.

The app does not work well on Pixel.. onboarding is crazy, it has you put in your member ID so many times and keeps logging you out at certain pages while using the app despite being initially logged in. I kept enabling biometric after I logged in (numerous times) to expedite the multiple login process but despite hitting it 3 or 4 times, it never enabled.. it still hasn't. Just super clunky and inefficient. Frankly it needs a ton of work. it's far from a good user experience.

In app check-in should be a smooth process. Instead, it's full of upsells and misdirection. Checking in a bag you already paid for when booking is very confusing. And in the end, it says to drop it off at the kiosk, but doesn't say what that means (I presume I still need to go to the self service kiosk first to print the tag, so this entire exercise in the app is to help United, not the customer, so make it *simple and clear*).
